For over 60 years, Bezdan Railing Solutions has been a national distributor of architectural railing systems.
The presentation will focus on sections of the code related to railings and guards, and answer the following questions:- When and why did the code change to limit railings and guards to vertical pickets and solid panels?
- How did the code eventually change to allow horizontal railings?
- How do cable railings meet code?
Samples of cable railing systems will be shown to gain familiarity with their construction and functionality.
